This morning's run was weird. It was warm outside (in the low 80s already), but not too warm, so I didn't bring water. But by the end of the run the sun was up and I was dying of thirst. And, the overall run was REALLY good, but the first two miles hurt - a lot. After those miles were over, I felt fast. Oddly enough, looking at my splits, even my warmup mile was faster than usual. Usually my warmup mile is about 17 minutes (during this mile I let msyelf stop and stretch, and walk as much as possible). So this begs the question: is the PT working or did those first couple of miles hurt because I was going too fast?

1 tidbits of wizdom:
My first mile always hurts, no matter what. I think my body just needs to jiggle it out or something. Loosen up. Do a little disco before it's ready to run like a good girl. Now that I think about it, that first mile kinda sucks.
