On the flipside, I've been doing EXCELLENT with my diet. Since I started feeling better, my natural tendency to eat well has come back. I think between the drop in training and the drop in calories, I'm really getting back towards my "regular" weight. I've never been skinny, but I've only been this heavy one other time. I don't do triathlon to lose weight, either. I lose more weight when I'm not training.
Yesterday I had a so-so day, but still pretty damn good. Breakfast was a scone and a nonfat latte. Snack was a banana. Lunch was a low fat noodle bowl (not all of it) and some edamame. I had half a small Frosty and two Hershey kisses when a sweet craving struck. Dinner was a whole wheat pita with chicken breast, veggies, a littttle tzatziki sauce and a little feta. Snack was fresh fruit.
Today for breakfast I had whole grain cereal with organic skim milk and a nonfat latte and a banana. Snack was raspberries and a Laughing Cow light cheese. Lunch was one salmon and mango roll made with brown rice, and edamame. I had one Hershey's kiss as a sweet treat. The rest of the day is up in the air.
Looks like I've torched another 2 lbs for a total of 12, or only 13 left to get back to my "regular". We'll see when I weigh on Monday.
